The important points are listed below.
- Pitch length - increased from 21 yards to 22 yards
- Ball - The ball used in all matches will be the regular ball (A1217 Level-1) that we used last year and that we have been using so far this year. However, if both teams agree, they can use ball A1218 for the match. If they choose to do so, they need to inform the umpire before the start of the game. Teams are advised that there is a greater risk of injury with A1218 ball.
- Registration of Players - For a player to be able to play a match, he should be registered with DCL. For registering themselves, all players have to complete and submit registration forms to DCL. A soft copy of the registration form can be downloaded from DCL website.
- Two-hour time limit for bowling 25 overs - During a match, each team will have to bowl its 25 overs within a two hour time limit. Failure to comply with this will result in penalty.
- Strict timeline for matches - A timeline for matches has been established. Both teams have to arrive for matches by 9:00 am. Toss is at 9:15 am. Match starts at 9:30 am. Failure to comply with established time limits result in penalty
- Please make sure you carry some kind of photo id with you.

- If an individual is not going to come for a practice session, he would be required to call captain at
248-895-3479 in advance and inform him about the absence.
- If an individual is going to be late, he would still be required to inform the captain in advance as early as possible with a tentative time when the individual expects to reach the field.
- Violations of this rule will be treated seriously and will be assumed to be a deliberate attempt to
be discourteous.
- First violation will result in warning in public.
- A second violation would be assumed to be a deliberate attempt to be disrespectful towards the team members attending the
practice sessions and hence the violator’s name will be removed from the mailing list of the team for
a period of three weeks. During these three weeks, he will be given lowest priority for selection for weekend matches.
- A third violation will result in permanent removal of the person from the team.
- A team of 14 will be declared every thursday before the game. Every member should be ready to serve as a substitute for any game.
